    Overview of research:
    I am studying the ionic and dynamical mechanisms of normal pacemaking and abnormal pacemaker activities (e.g., depolarization-induced automaticity, early afterdepolarization) in cardiac myocytes by patch-clamp experiments and mathematical analyses based on bifurcation theory. My another research interest is the mathematical modeling and computer simulation of ion channel dynamics using Markovian state schema and rate theory.
