Research

Overview of research:
There are three types of proximal femur in Japanese hip osteoarthritis patients and we are developing a new femoral prosthesis that would be more suitable for the Japanese patient using a computer aided design system. Additionally we are researching some factors such an intravascular obstructive lesion or oxidative stress that would be cause for steroid induced osteonecrosis of femoral head to prevent the occurrence of the disease.
