Research

    Overview of research:
    I have investigated health effects induced by environmental Cd exposure, especially clinical findings and life prognosis of itai-itai disease and residents in polluted areas. Recently reproductive toxicity and infant's health effects on exposed subjects to Cd and dioxins are also our research concerns. I also try to clarify the mechanism of dioxin’s toxicity on fetal neuro development by rats experiment. An international collaboration research project based on our experience of health management of Cd toxicity is proceeding with Chiang Mai University, a local hospital, and Thai government.
