Research

    Overview of research:
I have investigated health effects induced by environmental Cd exposure, especially clinical findings and life prognosis of itai-itai disease and residents in polluted areas. Recently reproductive toxicity and infant's health effects on exposed subjects to Cd and dioxins are also our research concerns. An international collaboration research project based on our experience of health management of Cd toxicity had performed with Chiang Mai University. Since 2007, we have investigated dioxin toxicity on exposed infant and child neurodevelopment in Vietnam. We also studied mechanism of neurotoxicity of perinatal dioxin exposure using animal model.
