    Overview of research:
From the viewpoint of autonomic dysfunction, we are researching on the pathophysiology of various neurological diseases and the development of diagnostic methods. We investigated autonomic dysfunction in neurological diseases, including Parkinson's disease, and clarified the difference between characteristics in a target and differential diseases. Based on these data, we guessed the pathophysiology of autonomic dysfunction in neurological disorders and developed several methods for the diagnosis. We are trying to elucidate the pathophysiology of idiopathic acquired generalized anhidrosis, which is considered to be an autoimmune disease, by analyzing skin and blood sample. In addition, we are developing an evaluating method of autonomic function as a psychological index.
